i began producing around 2016.
i loved how free it felt to turning ideas into sound, experimenting, and just having fun with it.i’m influenced by both live instruments and electronic music,
from rhythm and groove to bass driven, emotional electronic sounds.over time, making music became less about trying to fit into a genre and more about exploring feeling, texture, and space.
i’m drawn to sounds that feel alive slightly rough, emotional, and organic, even when they’re made electronically.as for the name “theu.”, i wanted something that simple and natural.
the name sounds organic but still electronic to me.
it can be read as the-u or even as the number two.
that ambiguity felt right.
